As a leading large-scale retail hypermarket chain in Vietnam, the client distinguishes itself with a diverse product ecosystem and an established MCARD loyalty platform serving millions of users. However, maintaining a competitive edge required moving beyond traditional loyalty models. The core challenge was how to enhance customer interaction, drive new member registration, encourage MPoint usage, and boost retention by creating an engaging and entertaining experience. The business goal was to transform the annual birthday campaign into a vibrant, fully integrated loyalty model on the MCARD app, demanding high scalability and stringent security.
Solution
Reputyze Asia developed and fully operated the Gamification Platform model. Our offering covered the entire process: strategic consulting, technical development, content production, digital communication, and performance reporting.
We proposed the “Birthday Gift” concept—a simple, easily adopted game focused on the immediate pleasure of receiving rewards. The solution was built directly into the Client’s MCARD app, ensuring a seamless user experience without requiring any new app downloads.
The solution architecture addresses both technical and communication challenges:
Secure Platform Development: The system was engineered for high load capacity during peak hours. Player identification uses the MCARD ID for accuracy, incorporating advanced anti-cheat mechanisms that detect unusual operations or devices.
Engagement Strategy (Creative & Media): Campaign visuals and content adhered to a young, modern, and friendly brand direction. We produced multi-format content and leveraged GDN Ads to boost campaign visibility across major news and websites.
Data-Driven Operations (Planning & Data): The Reputyze Asia team provided 24/7 support throughout the campaign, constantly monitoring feedback and optimizing the UI/UX. Detailed daily reporting on plays, new users, and redemption rates allowed the client to track progress and make timely, data-informed decisions.
